Mark Home Solutions, LLC is a professional, full service real estate solutions company that buys and sells properties throughout the greater Knoxville, TN area and the Atlanta and Savannah, GA areas. Since its inception, Mark Home Solutions has passionately pursued its goal of helping distressed home owners find answers to their real estate needs.
Currently, Mark Home Solutions, LLC has properties in Knoxville, TN, Maryville, TN and Savannah, GA. We are expanding to the Atlanta area this summer. We have hired two Project Managers, one to manage the Knoxville/Maryville area and one to manage the Savannah area. We hope to find our Atlanta Project Manager soon. We have in place many good systems to help us manage our teams. SCORE has helped us understand the importance of consistency now that we have different teams in place. However, the system we are most excited about is that our team of mentors can follow us to Atlanta! Using Skype and other new tech devices, we can continue with the support from SCORE no matter where we are!
Our company began with a strong passion for real estate in general with a focus of taking broken homes and frustrated home owners and giving them both a new future. Naively, we began one house at a time thinking that was all we needed to do. Find a house and fix it, find a house and fix it. As we continued down our path, building a company with a goal of completing 12-24 houses each year to start, we found there was a lot more to our company then just finding houses and fixing them. It was at this point we found SCORE, well, “needed” SCORE. We needed guidance, support and a perspective that would keep us on track as we grew our company. SCORE has done that for us. They began by having us write a business plan and develop goals. This basic business advice was what we needed. We have now been involved with our team of mentors for over two years. We meet once a month for approximately 1.5 hours. Many times, we arrive at the meeting discouraged, having a lack of direction and not sure we are on the right track. Our team would listen, let us “vent” and then make recommendations. To our surprise, they never thought we were too far off the right path. The encouragement and positive perspectives would leave us walking out of the meeting recharged!
