Now retired but worked in corporate environment for 35 years in UK and USA. Chartered Management Accountant qualification in UK (equivalent qualification in USA.) Multiple years experience in senior financial management positions in UK USA and for last 10 years working, held senior general management positions in operating divisions of global corporations. Travelled extensively globally - mainly to Europe and SE Asia in support of operations there and have broad experience in Semi Conductor, Food Packaging, Automotive and Medical Supply markets.

Over the last 35 years, I have helped start several high tech businesses. While my education is in engineering and marketing, I have a strong background in finance and manufacturing. Over 30 years experience in high technology; primarily in flat panel displays. In the role of senior management, I help reinvent and redirect two companies, resulting in multi-million dollar growth for each company. In 2003, started a boot-strap start-up company in flat panel displays, and sold to an international company in 2007. I also have experience in the food industry with 6 years of experience including management of a large dinner house restaurant. I had held all positions including kitchen, waiter and dinner-room manager.

Helps clients understand financial aspects of their business, including cash flow planning and raising money. Has worked with many clients to prepare business plans that resulted in successful loan applications, including SBA backed loans.

As a CPA and tax specialist for 33 years, I have helped many small business clients with planning, budgeting, projections, accounting, and Federal income tax issues. The structuring of businesses, the transfer of businesses between generations, and preparing for the sale of a business were a natural part of the overall planning process. Having grown up on a farm/ranch in a small farming community has provided me with an appreciation of the agricultural sector of the Rio Grande Valley and the importance of working together with neighbors and friends.
